Normek specializes in the design, engineering and construction of steel frame structures and steel bridges and the manufacturing of customized façade and roofing solutions. Normek offers the manufacturing, installation and designing of the products as fully complete entities.
Normek production and sales operations in Finland are located in Helsinki (HQ), Koria, Oulu, Naarajärvi, Alavus and Vaasa. In Sweden offices are located in Stockholm and Piteå.
Normek steel construction professionals have been supplying their quality products since 1979. Today steel structures are delivered annually at up to 28 thousand tons.

Steel
Each of our steel construction plants (Oulu, Naarajärvi and Alavus) has a Certificate of Conformity of the Factory Production Control that entitles the CE marking of structural welded steel assemblies and product systems in accordance with EN 1090-1 in the execution classes EXC1-EXC4.
In addition, we have been admitted with FI-certificate for the installation of structural steel assemblies and product systems as per EN 1090-2 and EN 1090-1, according the section 6.3, in the performance classes EXC1-EXC3. The Naarajärvi factory has a CL1 EN 15085-2 certificate for welding rail vehicles and components.
Facade
Products are CE-marked according to the following product standards:
- Doors and windows EN 14351-1
- Facade systems and thermo elements EN 13830
- Smoke and heat exhaust ventilation EN 12101-2
